Pure Flowers wins $2000 BizGiver business grant

PURE FLOWERS, THE LANE COVE BOUTIQUE FLORIST HAS WON BIZCOVER’S $2000 BUSINESS GRANT AND WILL NOW BE ABLE TO KICKSTART THEIR ONLINE PRESENCE WITH A YEAR’S WORTH OF WEBSITE CONTENT.

Local Business Awards 2015

Since 2011, Ludmila Fedorovitch and Elen Minas have wowed with their inspired, beautiful fresh floral designs and have already received accolades including Outstanding Florist at the 2015 North Shore Local Business Awards.

“We absolutely love what we do; hand-picking the best quality blooms at the Sydney Flower Market, creating gorgeous floral designs and seeing how eyes light up when people receive our bouquets and blooms!”

It’s this kind of passion that caught the attention of BizGiver’s judging panel and saw Pure Flowers be awarded the coveted prize.

“We want to honour that Aussie entrepreunership that so often gets overlooked at the early stages and a grant like this can really be the boost they need to allow their business to take a step up to the next level,” states Michael Gottlieb, co-founder and Managing Director of BizCover “we have customers in nearly every type of business across Australia, it’s inspiring to see these truly unique businesses like Pure Flowers reach success.”

BizCover, Australia’s leading online business insurance service, started the grant of $2000 as a way to give back to the small business community.

The BizGiver competition grants the wish of a small business of up to $2000 value; the wish simply needs to an item or service that will help their business.

For Pure Flowers, this means they can educate their customers and build up their online presence.

“[Engaging a copywriter] will enable us to grow the website and business to the next level as we will have the resources to create engaging, high quality content for our audience. The blogs will enhance our reputation as a leading local florist and we will build awareness of our business.”

“We will educate the community on floral care, create lessons on DIY flora design and provide local event and wedding supplier guides to promote local businesses that provide floral related services in the local [Sydney] North Shore area.”

A wish will be granted by Bizcover.com.au monthly in the form of a specific product or service valued at up to $2000. Businesses must have a valid ABN to apply but don’t need to be an existing BizCover customer to enter.

Wishes can be submitted online via www.smallbusinessbuddy.com.au.
