BizCover is committed to supporting customers who experience family violence.

We recognise that some of our customers may be experiencing  family violence. BizCover is committed to providing confidential and sympathetic assistance to you if you are experiencing family violence.

We endeavour to provide affected customers flexible support to assist them to lessen their burden in such circumstances.

BizCover promotes awareness of family violence within our business and ensures our staff and partners have adequate training to equip them with the competencies and skill to support such customers,

Privacy and Confidentiality

Protecting your privacy is our priority and we are committed to protecting the information you provide to keep you safe. We protect the personal information of our customers in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Please refer to our Privacy policy.

Financial hardship

BizCover recognises that family violence is a potential cause of financial hardship. Should you be experiencing financial hardship, we can discuss with you how we can support you and reduce the financial burden being experienced.

If you need financial hardship assistance, please call us at 1300 920 873 and talk to one of our customer service representatives and also refer to our Financial Hardship policy.

Under The General Insurance Code of Practice (2021), insurers that sell retail insurance products are required to have a Family Violence Policy publicly available to their customers. BizCover distributes Personal Accident and Illness insurance, which is a retail insurance product.
