The annual Hot List celebrates executives and professionals who are shaping the future of insurance through leadership, innovation and industry impact. The recognition comes during a milestone period for BizCover, following continued growth, the expansion of insurer partnerships, major technology investments, and the business surpassing 300,000 customers nationally. 

Michael Gottlieb’s inclusion reflects his leadership in building BizCover into Australia’s leading online SME insurance platform and helping drive digital transformation across the industry. Under his leadership, BizCover has continued to expand its technology capabilities and simplify how small businesses compare, buy and manage insurance. No stranger to the Hot List, Michael has made the list several times over the years. He was also named Insurance Business CEO of the Year in 2025. 

Brad Miller’s recognition highlights his contribution to operational growth, customer experience and strategic execution, helping strengthen BizCover’s position as a leading insurtech serving Australian SMEs. Over the past year, Brad has also played a key role in showcasing BizCover’s investment in emerging technology and AI-driven innovation. In 2025, he hosted BizCover’s annual Tech Showcase, bringing together suppliers, partners and industry stakeholders to preview a range of AI-powered projects designed to further streamline the insurance experience for small businesses and support the future growth of the company. 

The nomination and subsequent unveiling of the dual award wins were a complete surprise to both Michael and Brad. Sharon Kenny, Head of Strategic Projects and Partnerships at BizCover, made the announcement at a company-wide event on May 15.
