Since May 2016, Caradorf Ogbonna has been heightening BizCover’s style, both in the classy service he gives his customers and for his undeniable sartorial choices. He’s become a stalwart of the BizCover team since then, filling a number of different roles in those two years.
“My original intention was to get the job and move to another job I really wanted within 3 months or so,” Caradorf confessed, “But I ended up falling in love with the company and the people, and after 2 years I’m still here and not leaving anytime soon.”
Caradorf started originally as a Sales Consultant, then progressed his way to a Customer Value Consultant.
“Whilst I’ve changed roles and moved teams, I still love the fact that I can support Australian Small Businesses every day.”
It’s the lifestyle advantages and the culture that he loves the most about his role.
“My life has changed a lot since I first started working for BizCover, as I’m a single parent with a lot of the commitments that come with it.”
“As a single dad, with a 10-year old son who has pursuits in basketball, the flexibility to support him before and after school is really important.”
Caradorf was able to join the BizFlex program and work from a home office, saving himself the over one hour commute each way and allow him to be more available for his son.
“It’s allowed me a more balanced family environment. Bizcover is very accommodating when it comes to flexible work arrangements.”
This doesn’t mean Caradorf isn’t still a fixture in the BizCover team. When he is missing the office and the team environment, Caradorf can be sporadically seen back in the office.
“I love the people around, the real people-centric culture; it’s a good culture and a fun vibe.”
“The End-of-Financial-Year and Christmas parties are something I always look forward to.”
His advice to those thinking about joining?
“It’s a fun environment as much as it is result oriented. Bring your best A-game attitude and your career will skyrocket.”
