Michael has over fifteen years experience in the insurance, strategy consulting and the allied health sectors, gained through his work across US, South Africa and Australia.

In 2001, Michael and Gavin Donner founded Mega Capital, a specialist professional risks insurance broker. Mega Capital is one of the largest professional indemnity insurance brokerages to the financial services, accounting and mortgage broking sectors in Australia. As the joint MegaCaptial Managing Director, Michael’s primary focus is on the company’s strategy, servicing its larger clients and managing the Sydney office.

In 2007, Michael co-founded BizCover, the online arm of MegaCapital and Australia’s first online commercial insurance marketplace. As BizCover Managing Director, Michael’s focus has been on growing the client base as well as the industries covered by BizCover’s insurance offer.
